I'm not sure why it is so hard to throw away empty boxes and packages, but my kids seem to have a hard time doing it. Not just my youngest three, but even when my older three were younger they did the same thing. Pure craziness in the Fauci house.

'Everything But Water' House of Fauci's Store Review
For most women, going swim suit shopping is not fun! After I had my first child I became 'that woman' that wore a tank top over her swim suit and constantly felt awkward, especially when my bum kept popping out of my swim suit bottoms. After my husband told me that I needed to buy a new swim suit because we were going to the beach, I knew I needed to put on my big girl panties and find the perfect swim suit and I knew exactly where I needed to go, Everything But Water.
The following weekend we headed out so that I could find my perfect swim suit. I told my husband exactly where we needed to go and he complied, well sort of. Here is my story of that day and my store review of 'Everything But Water':

'Finish This' Week 18
3- I feel small when... I am in a room full of people that I do not know. I have never been the type of person to be able to walk up to a random group of people in a room and invite myself into their conversation.. my husband on the other hand can and he does not understand how I can't.
4- I feel big when... I have accomplished a task that I thought I would never have dreamed possible. For example, when I became a SAHM, I felt the need to work so I opened my own home business and have watched it grow over the past 6 years! Who knew...

5- I feel indestructible when...I have survived a day! Not kidding... I am surrounded by kids all day that I sometimes surprise myself that my husband does not come home finding me hiding in a closet or rocking in the corner of the room with my thumb in my mouth. Just kidding, but no.. I'm not kidding. Care giving and parenting can be tough.
6- I feel stupid when...I have to call an IT company regarding my computer. Thankfully, however, Dell customer service and Apple are some of the best companies to call. They are patient and I can understand them; which is a huge plus.
7- I feel smart when... I hang up from the phone call with the IT company having accomplished the call and having fixed my problem! Oh ya...
Celebrating Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
I first learned about Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation three years ago when I first moved to San Antonio. We were at Old Navy and as we were leaving a lady was at the exit passing out little cups of lemonade along with bright yellow lemonade stickers that read 'Alex's Lemonade Stand'. She took the time to explain what the foundation was about. After her story, we handed her some money for the foundation and walked away with our refreshing cups of lemonade.
The following year, a company that my husband worked with asked him to contribute and attend an event that they were raising awareness for, Alex's Lemonade Stand. Of course, having learned about the cause the previous year, he was glad to and my girls were also happy to attend the fun event.
We had a great time at the event and they raised a lot of money for the foundation. It is always fun to attend an event that is raising not only money but awareness for a wonderful cause. How to Make a Summer Bucket List - VLOG
Since becoming a Work at Home Mom, I have been lucky enough to have my summers off to spend with my 3 girls. With that said, it is important to come up with activities to keep them busy and to keep me sane. Unfortunately, since money does not fall off of trees I have to find creative ways to keep them busy. Last year I discovered and created a Summer Bucket List for our family.
Not only was it fun but it was a life saver, so I decided to continue the tradition for the summer of 2014. My girls and I made a video to show you how to make a Summer Bucket List. We hope you enjoy it.
Like I said in the video, you may come up with more ideas than what you will end up doing, but it is fun to get creative and think of ideas. Try to come up with non monetary ideas as well, such as doing good deeds, volunteering, or/ and having outside time; possibly a scavenger hunt.
If your kids would like to have their individual Bucket List then take a look at the Teaching Heart blog. This site has a cute printable that allows your kids to answer specific summer related questions.
So grab a poster board, some bright pens and gather around and start coming up with a summer plan. Have fun!

2014 Blogger Basket Swap
This was my first year to participate in the Blogger Basket Swap and it was fun. I love to shop and send goodies to others and hope to bring a smile to their face and I really love to receive goodies; especially since it is so rare for this mama to get non kid mess surprises.

#MyHeroMom -- Who Is Your Hero Mom?

As Mother's Day approaches, most of us think of a special lady or two in our lives that has made an impact on us or has shown us what the meaning of true love is. This Mother's Day, Northwestern Mutual is initiating the program #MyHeroMom that runs through May 13, 2014. This program will be donating $25,000 to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and will donate $5, up to an additional $25,000, for every picture that is shared via Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter that shows your Mom Hero; but you must use the #MyHeroMom. The full campaign donation of $50,000 will fund 1,000 hours of childhood cancer research. Watch this amazing video to learn more:
My Hero Mom's are my mother and my grand mother. Even though my mom and I saw things differently through the years she was always there when I needed her. I remember once when I had unexplained stomach pains and had to be admitted into the hospital she stayed with me all night and slept upright in a chair; now that is true love. My grand mother is the most amazing human being on this Earth. Her heart is so huge that the love she shows for everyone that crosses her path is just simply amazing. Both of these women are the true definition of Mom Heroes.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation was founded by a young lady, named Alexandra 'Alex' Scott. She was diagnosed with childhood cancer before her first birthday and at the young age of 4 she told her parents that she wanted to set up a front yard lemonade stand. Her plan was to give the money she collected from the lemonade stand to doctors so they could find a cure. With the help of her older brother, Alex raised $2,000 in one day. Sadly, Alexandra 'Alex' Scott passed away at the age of 8, but her mission lives on.
As I stated above, you can help Alex with her mission and it is so easy! Take a picture of your Hero Mom (this can be a friend, sister, aunt, mom, step mom...any female that has inspired you or has been there for you) and post it to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. If you are posting to Facebook use the Northwestern Mutual Facebook Link and don't forget to include #MyHeroMom. Together, we can make a difference to help fight childhood cancer.
