Smokey Mo's BBQ - A House of Fauci Food Review

The Fauci household has a love for Texas BBQ and we are always on the lookout for the best place to eat it. When we moved to a small town outside of the great city of San Antonio we were super excited to find a small corner BBQ place called Smokey Mo's BBQ.

Since we moved to this town, we have eaten at Smokey Mo's at least 4 times and each time has been fantastic. I do have to say, however, that you will get great service, but not the fastest service. I am not the most patient person in the world so I have found myself pacing and then observing the staff to try and figure out why the heck they move so slow, but in the end the food is so good that the slowness is forgotten about until the next visit.

On this day we ordered a lot of food for take out, 1/2 pound ribs, turkey, brisket, baked potato with turkey, pint of coleslaw, beans, and potato salad. When they told me the total was around $55 I was amazed because that is a lot of food and really good food!

The great thing about ordering this much food is that you can make so many different meals out of it. I believe my husband and I made a total of 8 or 9 meals; to me that is amazing because that is around $6 per plate! Here are some examples of how we used this awesome meat.

Scrambled eggs, tomatoes, bell peppers, and brisket!

Plate of amazing goodness and a turkey salad.

The freshness and smokey flavor of Smokey Mo's meat is astounding and it seems to melt in your mouth and makes you want more! Out of the three meats we brought home, our favorite was Smokey Mo's ribs. The meat fell off the bone and they were amazing with or without sauce.

Smokey Mo's has around 12 locations in Texas, so if you are visiting or if you live in this great state, look them up and drop in for some breakfast, lunch or dinner. We've not had a chance to eat their breakfast but I am hoping to very soon.
